Welcome to my new website! I’m delighted to connect with you!

Over the years, teaching experiences, opportunities for improvisation, and observing magical moments shared by my students and workshop participants have strengthened my musical and pedagogical beliefs. My musical training, gained through studies with inspiring teachers, has been enriched by training in improvisation with the organization Music for People and its founder, David Darling, a visionary cellist, improviser, and educator.
Since then, whether in musical institutions, through organizing my workshops, or in my piano lessons, creativity has played a key role. In music education, much is said about the importance of listening—and rightly so. Without active listening, without presence, music loses its flavor and meaning. In a subtle way, improvisation is a means of reigniting this listening.

Regardless of one's level of musical training, improvisation proves to be both an exciting and original tool.
Moreover, improvisation allows individuals without any formal musical training to express themselves musically. How? This is precisely the strength of the philosophy developed by David Darling, which provides the opportunity to create music naturally, using the voice, small percussion instruments, and the synergy created by a group. Very simple musical principles are employed to encourage participants to explore their artistic originality. This is the unique touch I bring as a facilitator in my workshops, La Musique au coeur de soi. Over the years, leading these workshops has allowed me to confirm the value and richness of this approach.
Dear Pianists,
I am offering a series of two piano improvisation workshops for Spring 2023 in Montreal.
Whether you are an amateur pianist, a piano teacher, or a music student, these sessions are for you.
During these workshops, we will learn simple starting points for creating improvisations. Whether playing solo or in duet, we will also explore ways to let improvisation unfold—without judgment, without fear of mistakes. Written examples of improvisation starting points will be provided at the end of the two workshops to inspire your continued creativity.
To ensure more time for exploration and experimentation for everyone, the number of participants will be limited.
Workshop dates: To be confirmed (late April or early May)
Series: Two workshops, each three hours long
Cost for the series: $125
I'll be happy to give you more information if you wish.
